Kicking Off for FUNds!

Ready…Set….Go!  The Ashland Schools Foundation is about to Kickoff our 19^th Annual Fund Drive with a  Celebration of Education Kickoff event to be held “First Friday,” April 4 on Ashland’s downtown plaza from 5-6 pm. From April 8-24, volunteer callers will be seeking donations to support Ashland public schools. Please contact us if you’re interested in volunteering!

The Annual Fund Drive is held once a year in April and is the main source of support for the Foundation whose goals are to provide educational support and enrichment grants to our schools as well as reduce class sizes whenever possible. This school year over $250,000 was awarded due to the generosity of our community.

Come join us downtown at the Kickoff for some fabulous music by the Mukombe Marimba Band "Tsokoshata", the Ashland High School Jazz Band, jump roping with Bellview Elementary's jump roping club, or take part in some chalk art fun led by high school fine arts students.
