Memorial Funds at Ashland Schools Foundation

While death is a part of life, it’s always difficult to lose those we love. One way to help is through honoring and remembering our loved ones through memorial funds.

 

The Ashland Schools Foundation is privileged to have memorial funds honoring the following individuals who have passed away. Please contact us if you would like to establish a memorial fund in remembrance someone important in your life.

 

CURRENT GENERAL MEMORIAL FUNDS:
 

Christlieb Family Vocational Fund –
Norman Christlieb passed away on Monday, March 16th, 2015 at the age of 92. Honoring Norm's dedication to vocational careers, donations to ASF in Norman’s memory will be part of the Christlieb Family Vocational Fund and will be used for Vocational Education in the Ashland public schools. Donations may be mailed to ASF at 100 Walker Ave, Ashland, OR  97520, or simply click on the “Donate” button, and note Norman Christlieb’s name in the “Tribute” section of our donation form. Norman's family in Ashland will be notified of all memorial donations.

 

ENDOWED MEMORIAL FUNDS:

 

The Ethan Townsend Memorial Endowment Fund - Ethan Townsend, a 2003 Ashland High School graduate who was killed in September of 2009 in a hiking accident in China, was regarded by friends as compassionate and brilliant.The Ethan Townsend Memorial Endowment Fund at the Ashland Schools Foundation has been established to support the Student Tutoring Center at Ashland High School as tutoring other students was a passion of Ethan’s.

Ethan's parents, Hal & Mary Townsend, will be notified of memorial donations.

 

The Kipp Crawford Memorial Endowment Fund - Kipp Crawford, a 1996 graduate of Ashland High School, was killed at the age of 31 as a result of a tragic accident in Portland, Oregon. Kipp was a skilled drummer who followed that passion into a professional life of music and studio recording. The Kipp Crawford Memorial Endowment Fund is used to create enriching opportunities for jazz musicians in the Ashland Schools.
