Ashland Schools Foundation has kicked off its 19th annual fund drive, with a fundraising goal of $275,000.
All of the funds raised will benefit Ashland School District students. ASF supports dozens of educational programs, including reading specialists in each of the elementary schools, health education at Ashland Middle School, English and math classes at Ashland High School, enrichment grants for teachers and much more.
Ashland parents, teachers, administrators and students will be calling community members on Tuesday and Thursday nights during the month of April to solicit donations. A matching donation fund of $30,000 will match gifts from donors who did not give last year, and match the increased amounts of renewal donor gifts that are received by May 7.
The Ashland Schools Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit public benefit corporation, organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. Since 1989, the foundation has raised more than $3,000,000.
