Interesting Links  Ashland School District Website This is the official website for Ashland public schools, which includes the elementary schools, the middle school, the high school and Willow Wind.  Coalition for School Funding Now Here you will find information about the efforts of citizens around the state to lobby legislators. Many Ashland residents were heavily involved in the efforts to obtain sufficient school funding in Salem last winter. There is a link here to the state’s Quality Education Model on the ODE website.  E3: Employers for Education Excellence E3: Employers for Education Excellence is a statewide non-profit organization working with employers and schools to boost student achievement. The site is sponsored by a variety of businesses and uses data from the National Center for Education Statistics.  Oregon Department of Education On this site, you will find data about Oregon public education operations. It is the government site for the state. Be forewarned, the data is comprehensive, but it is not current and has not been updated for the present budget situation. It is an excellent source of some historic data.  Oregon School Board Association This is a very informative site with many links to news articles, legislative updates, reports, and other information to aid in the understanding of the school funding crisis and its meaning for Oregon’s future.
